WeOwnTV is collaborative media project between documentary filmmakers in the US and ex-combatant and war-weary youth in Africa. WeOwnTV roughly translates In Sierra Leonean Krio to 'Our Own TV'. It is about empowering them them to tell their own stories. We will provide the technical support, encouragement and training to allow these young adults to creatively explore, author, and share their own experiences with the world.
